Black Crappie Sarcoma Update Feb-Apr

Happy Spring!

For a quick summary, we’re still working on the protein study and it’s coming to a close soon. We began experimenting with tissue cultures last week to practice for when we get black crappies into the lab. Those tissue cultures may precipitate out a virus or bacteria that is causing BCS. Finally, I took this project to a conference with the hope of finding some other laboratories who were able to give me some advice moving forward. Full report ->
